Hi I'm Anne (ReAnn Hammond Brown)

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of four adult children who are powerful warriors in their own lives. I have three terrific grandchildren. I am the administrator for Isa GAME On. I love my job. We help people all over the world to replace the "diet mentality" or "junk-food and couch-potato habits" with a lifestyle of respect, responsibility and gratitude about our bodies. I love theatre, football, knitting and family history. I recently began Cross Fit training which has opened a whole new world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that is very strong and committed to the gospel. As a young adult I was following the great examples in my life. I got married at 21 years old to a good man and quickly had four children. When my baby was about four weeks old our marriage quickly disintegrated. I held on to my faith but one Sunday morning it was just too difficult to get all five us dressed and to church. I joke that I couldn't find my son's left shoe so I left the church. I didn't lose my testimony, I just lost my will. Amazingly within weeks I was going down a completely different road and entering a foreign world. A few years later I took my kids to the visitor center at one of the temples for a Sunday evening activity. As one of the movies ended my oldest boy said, "I miss church." That was the trigger. We went back. For me, going back to church was not difficult because I had never lost my testimony. Why am I a Mormon? Because I know that the gospel is true, that the Priesthood is actually the authority to act in God's name and because this is where my soul belongs.

How I live my faith

What I do to live my faith has changed over the years. The constant theme is the greatest commandments - Love God, Love Others and Love Yourself. The moments in life when this theme is foremost in our minds is, to me, when we truly live our faith. That is my goal.
