Hi I'm Ashley

I laugh too loud. I try to dance daily. I love America. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Though a California girl at heart, I am looking forward to an east coast adventure for the next few years! I recently graduated from Brigham Young University and am excited to pursue a career advocating for women and children in developing countries. One thing I absolutely love is bringing people together through party and event planning. If I had the chance, I'd likely read every book on your shelf. I crave outside time on the daily, whether it's spent hiking, longboarding, rollerblading, or riding my bike.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony stems from love for my family. Because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that I can be with my family after this life. When I am laughing with my sisters or going on a walk with my dad, I know that God loves me. I know that He has given me the opportunity to be with the people who mean the most to me again someday. Families are forever. The family unit was created by our Heavenly Father for our benefit; I know that I was placed specifically with these people to be given the opportunity to grow into the person God meant me to be. I am here for a glorious purpose.

How I live my faith

My faith serves as the motivation for almost every decision I make. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Jerusalem. While there, I spent my days reading the Bible and learning about my Savior, Jesus Christ. This incredible experience made concrete my belief that Jesus gave His life for us. He lived perfectly and then atoned for your sins and mine. When I reflect on this time or think of Jesus Christ, I want to be better. I want to do more. I want to give to others. I want to become the daughter that God has sent me here to be.
