Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon. Married and love to build things and solve problems.

About Me

I am the proud father of 5 children and am thankful for the church to help me to be a better father. We had 1 stillborn with Trisomy 18 which was the toughest testimony building experience. I learned more about the eternal plan for his children and an appreciation for life. We look long and hard for miracles and there is a miracle every second in each breath we take. I love football and fly fishing. I work in construction and enjoy it when I am able to see things get built and see the impact I can have solving problems. As The Bible teaches with God all things are possible (Luke 1:37).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Book of Mormon. When I was a teenager I wanted to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover. I struggled. When I read I gained a testimony when something I read helped me in my day and then another time it explained a problem I was having. I felt better when I read even if I was tired. The Book of Mormon teaches truth.

How I live my faith

am grateful that the church supports the Scouting program. Currently I help with the 11 yr old scouts which learn the basic principles of scouting teaching young boys how important age old truths are in life.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

John
As I organize at work to construct a building there are very few things that get done correctly if the details in the plans, the people and the materials materials are not closely watched. This beautiful earth and our amazing bodies I believe have a supreme creator watching and organizing. Oppositely demolishing a building can take little time and effort and so can tearing down people around us. Our Heavenly Father does exist and his plan is for us to be built up to become like him.
