Hi I'm Greta

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Sister Greta Gebhard. I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been assigned to serve in the Germany Berlin mission, which is such an incredible place, and I can't wait to meet the people there and love them and serve them. I went to high school in Colorado and have attended a year at BYU in Provo. I have three brothers and one sister whom I love very much. I am the youngest child, so I have been blessed with many people in my life and many opportunities. It gets a little bit lonely in my life, but I know my parents, my siblings, and Heavenly Father all love me, so I'm never alone. I love sewing and cooking! Cupcakes are my favorite! Life is way more fun when you can make it sweeter. I believe it is important for people to optimists. Life is too short to always think negatively.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church with a loving family. Being the youngest, I was always able to see the testimonies of my older siblings and my parents. I believe that I have always known about God's love for me, but it took until I was around 13 to recognize that I understood the truthfulness of the gospel. My testimony was built through little pieces of truth. I am a Mormon because this brings me true joy. I am happiest when I use my time to serve the Lord and share his blessings with people around me. I am a Mormon because when I feel alone and sad, I know that I can pray to my Heavenly Father, and I know that He will answer my prayer. I am a Mormon because there is no other way for me to be with my Heavenly Father again, so I will do whatever He asks of me in order to have that blessing!

How I live my faith

I love sharing the gospel with people. I am serving a mission so that I can share God's love with everyone and anyone who will listen to me! I can see all the blessings that they Lord has given me, and I know that He really wants to bless us. But He also wants to bless His children who have not yet heard the gospel, who are going through their own struggles in life. I have committed the next 18 months of my life to the Lord to show Him my faith and my commitment to Him. My job is to share my testimony with the people in Germany and to help bring them closer to Christ. When people look at me, I want them to see the happiness the gospel brings shining through my eyes. I want them to feel God's love for them by the way I treat them and serve them. I am serving the Lord completely on faith. I don't know if anyone is even going to bother listening to me in Germany, but I believe that Heavenly Father has a plan for me. And part of the plan is to serve the people Germany and to try my hardest to bring them into the fold of God. I show my faith in God everyday when I wake up and go about serving His children to the best of my ability.
