Hi I'm Kim

I am an American. I love music. I enjoy crafts. I work with animals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Washington (all over) most of my life. I am a wife of 14 years, and a mother of a teen. I enjoy spending time with my family as we watch movies, go hiking, or traveling. I enjoy scrapbooking, stamping, cross stitching and quilting. I recieved a 2nd place ribbon at the fair for a quilt I made. I love music more than tv. I played the viola for 7 years in school. I would like to learn how to play the piano better and I would love to start playing the cello. I work full time caring for animals as a licensed veterinary technician for which I went to college for. I have been in the veterinary field for 16 years (a tech for 9.5 of those). I ride a yamaha v-star. My husband and I ride together when we have the chance.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptised when I was 8 but I wasn't born into the covenant and my mom wasn't active after that. I remember having a best friend in 7th grade ask me if I wanted to come to church with her. I attended the youth's midweek activity and was instantly hooked. I often attended church on my own during my teen years. I earned my young womenhood recognition medallion and attended every year of girls camp. I loved and still love the young women's program. The gospel has always made my life seem happier and easier to go through trials. We are not alone in our dealings. Christ is always with us and we can feel His Spirit. I have many blessings in my life because I follow Jesus. I feel peace and love when I attend church and when I go to the temple.

How I live my faith

Christ works through us to help and teach others. I am a visiting teacher and I have visiting teachers. My companion and I go to visit the ladies assigned to us once a month. I enjoy visiting with each lady and learning about them and their families. I have been a leader for the young women and really enjoyed teaching the girls the principles of the gospel and skills needed for their future. I have been the secretary for a few organizations in the church and have enjoyed giving of my organization skills in these callings.
