Hi I'm Blythe

I have a degree in sociology. I am a feminist. I love to travel and eat new foods. I'm a blogger. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished up my bachelors- graduated 7 months pregnant with my first. I now have a family of six (me, my husband, my son, my dachshund, my cat, and my bird). I participate in feminist activism pretty regularly. I enjoy being outdoors- hiking, camping, and being on the water. I used to perform in California sing, dancing, and acting.

Why I am a Mormon

The first time I met a Mormon was while living in Alaska.I investigated the Church for a while, asking as many questions as I could. My questions were answered with concrete explanations that made sense to me rather than more questions and vague descriptions I had received when looking into other faiths. Ultimately, I became a Mormon because I felt inspired that this is the true church.

How I live my faith

I love going visit teaching- teaching other sisters in the ward. It helps me build a support network. I have learned that one of the best ways to give service is cook a meal for someone- whether they are sick, mourning, just given birth, or just stressed. In my community, I try to be a good example as well as be as outgoing as possible.
