Hi I'm Taylor

I love free running and baseball. I'm serving in the Scotland/Ireland Mission. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Arizona all my life, but now I'm in Scotland growing webbed feet! I've been serving in the Scotland/Ireland Mission since September 5th and I'm currently serving in Oban, Scotland. My companion is Elder Dickinson from Nottingham. I love music, both listening and playing. I'm the son of two of the best people I know. I'm the only brother to two sisters: my 5 foot twin and my 22-year-old sister who is married to an awesome guy, Rhett. I enjoy parkour and free running, though I can only do that on p-day now! (did you know the p in p-day stands for parkour...?)

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in an LDS household my entire life and both sides of my family have been members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for as long as I can tell. Being surrounded by the influence of the gospel, I'd always assumed the church to be true, but as any good teacher in this gospel will tell you, I had to find the truth for myself. This is where the gift of prayer has been a blessing in my life. Through reading the scriptures and personal prayer, I have come to a knowledge that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one true church on this earth. Anytime I have had a question, I can go to the Lord in earnest prayer and I will find an answer, whether through a feeling guided by the Spirit, or by the words of another person. I not only know that this is the true church from answers to prayers. In addition to that, the simple fact that I cannot deny its truth has been a testimony to me. I know it is true, and I cannot forget it. I'm grateful to have a sure testimony of the truth of this church and I love that I have a Father in Heaven to turn to at any time. I know that He loves me and that He sent His Son to atone for my sins as well as everyone who will repent and come unto Him. I cannot imagine a life without a loving Heavenly Father and I do not ever plan to experience it. Because of this great happiness that the gospel has brought me, I am now serving a mission in order to share that hope and joy with all who will accept it.

How I live my faith

Knowing the truth of the Gospel, I could not resist serving a mission. I'm excited to be able to serve the people of Scotland and Ireland, and I pray that they will accept the message of hope I have to share. As a full-time missionary, I am in the service of the Lord always. This means I'm always looking for an opportunity to teach and serve. I love the chance I have to interact with so many different great people in my area as well as share the gospel with others. I couldn't be more excited to serve, and I have loved being in Oban!
