Hi I'm Tori

I'm a college student. I love baseball (go D-Backs!). And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying Psychology at a university. I love hearing people's stories and listening to their beliefs and interests.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church to be true and have found this out for myself. Being born in the church, I have been taught from the very beginning the principles of the gospel, but none of that would do me any good if I hadn't found out for myself whether the principles were true or not. I love that everyone has access to the Atonement of Christ. It is there for everyone to use and it is available to me whenever I need it. One of my favorite things about my religion is the principle of prayer. I love how our prayers aren't rehearsed and we can talk to our Father in Heaven with the respect and love that we feel for Him. It helps me form a more special and personal relationship when I can talk to God in a way I would talk to a close friend. The power of prayer has blessed me so much in my life because I have been able to turn to Heavenly Father whenever I need to, and He always answers, whether it's right away or I have to wait for the right time, there has always been an answer.

How I live my faith

I am about to head out to the Washington Kennewick Mission, Spanish speaking. I report to the Mexico City MTC July 16th, 2014 (Woohoo!). Missionary work (whether it is being a member missionary or full-time missionary) is the greatest way I live my faith. I know the power and strength of the Atonement, and want to bring that hope to others.
