Hi I'm Kirstin

I'm a proud Army wife and a mother. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother and a wife. My daughter is about 4 months old, and my husband is in the Army as infantry. We are currently stationed near Fort Campbell, KY. I enjoy music, particularly the drums, but also the piano and singing. I've played soccer since I was 8 and participated on both rec teams and competitive teams. I stopped playing a couple years ago due to other interests, but I still thoroughly enjoy it and hope to start up again. I used to breed Holland Lop rabbits and sell them as pets, but unfortunately had to sell them; I developed hay allergies and could no longer be around them. Regardless, I love rabbits for their curious nature and diverse personalities!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church, but have gained an individual testimony over the past few years. Although I have not participated much in other faiths, I truly feel something special and unique when I am at the LDS church and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being Mormon brings me inner peace and strength to get through the days when my husband is away, training for the Army. I feel complete and whole when I pray to my Heavenly Father and read His scriptures.

How I live my faith

Being Mormon for me involves more than just going to church every Sunday. I do my best to read and pray with my daughter in our free time. I also try to show others that God is important to me by abstaining from worldly pleasures. Regardless of my values, I aim not to judge others based on what they do or how they act. By doing this, I show that self-worth never changes based on how we live our lives.
