Hi I'm Jayden

I love to make people laugh, I'm a full time college student, blogger, future teacher and I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Jayden Nicole Coates. My Birthday is August 4th. Agriculture is my life; teaching is my passion; and my family, friends, and students are my motivation. I love meeting new people and I love to make people laugh and smile. I believe serving others serves the lord. Im a student at Utah State University where I'm studying agricultural education. I have about two years left in my degree and when I'm done I plan on going back to my home town and taking my former teacher, FFA, and mentors job. Distractions are perhaps my biggest weakness. I'm a huge movie buff some of my favorites include Lonesome Dove, Dances with Wolves, and the new Les Miserables. My FFA Advisors mean the world to me there like my second family. I love riding horses, four wheeling and hunting with my family. Some of the best advice i have ever gotten came from my seminary teachers and ffa advisors. My young women leaders mean the world to me!! I worry about nonimportant things sometimes a little too much. My favorite place to be is in the mountains or driving my car. I have to many heroes to list. I love to help people and I hate seeing those I love hurting. I'm a convert to the church I was baptized at the age of twelve by a missionary whom I still speak to on occasion I'm so glad that they came into our lives and changed who I am and will be for the rest of my life!

Why I am a Mormon

Well its simple when I live the way I'm supposed to when I live a christ like life then I'm happier less stressed. The feeling you have when your in tune and feeling the spirit is something words can't describe. Its almost like standing on the tallest mountain and knowing nothing can bring you down now times that by a million and that's what the spirit is like. I also believe in every bit of this gospel I know its true with everything I have I know this is the true church on this earth today. The first time I knew this church was true was my sophomore year of high school the missionaries came into seminary (at this point I was going to seminary just to have a class where I didn't have homework) and they gave us a challenge to go home and pray and ask Heavenly Father if this church was true so I did and the next day which was a Sunday I was with one of my friends and we were in the car and I looked out the window to all the snow on the ground and at that moment I just felt an extrodinary feeling the spirit was so strong and I just knew that this was my answer the answer to my prayer. Since then I've had so many more of these experiences that have strengthened and secured my testimony of my Heavenly Father and of my savior Jesus Christ and his atonement and sacrifice for me. I have felt in some of my darkest hours my loving Heavenly Father pouring out his love on me and wrapping his loving arms around me and that is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

Its simple by doing the thing I know I should by living like I believe. By striving to be Christlike and no I'm not perfect and I do very often make mistakes and that's where repentance comes in which is another way I live my faith. Doing the thing I know I should do and striving to always be an example to those around me to my family and friends.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?
