Hi I'm Megan Bracken

I'm a volleyball and basketball coach. I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming community in Southern Utah. I had many opportunities during high school to be involved. I was involved in student government and aIso participated on my high school volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. I then went to college with a basketball scholarship and loved every second of it. Before I graduated from college, I married my high school sweetheart. My husband and I love to play sports and be outdoors. We also enjoy playing board games and spending time with our families. I taught middle school PE and Health and also coached volleyball and basketball for a few years before having our first child. We had a beautiful daughter and now I am enjoying staying at home with her and being a wife and mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very grateful to have been born to parents who instilled in me the importance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I started my life as a young girl believing the things that were taught to me, and the older I got, the more I gained my own testimony of the truthfullness of His church. I made it a priority throughout my life to put myself in good situations that would allow me to always live by the righteous standards of the church. One blessing I have found by living the gospel is that I can be with my family forever. I love my family so much and it gives me such happiness to know that I will be with them forever. I'm a Mormom because I find comfort in the guidelines that the church sets for us. It is the way I want to live my life and also the way I want my children to live. It is the way for true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in whatever calling the Lord sees fit for me. I have served among the primary children and also the young women. I find the children and youth of the church to be strong and inspiring.
