Hi I'm Anthony

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello all, my name is Anthony. I am happily married to Rachel and have 3 wonderful children. Kenzie is the oldest at 16, Bug is our middle child at 13, and Pood is the youngest, our only boy and he is 9. I am employed by a major bottler as a production supervisior in the Phoenix, AZ area. My wife and I met on the internet on a NASCAR chatroom back in 1999. At that time I was living in South Carolina. I had been recently been laid off from my job at the time, and with nothing holding me in SC I relocated to Utah to begin courting Rachel. At the time I was not a member of the church but her family was very active. I admit I had no desire to convert to the LDS church then. But after listening to the testomonies of all of her family, I was ready to receive the missioniaries and accept the gospel. I was baptised on Dec 13, 2000 by my father in law and received the gift of the holy ghost on Dec 17, 2000 .At times, I have struggled getting to church and to follow the word of our Heavenly Father and the teachings of Jesus Christ. But as I have gotten older and I hope wiser, I yearn to make it to the Temple with my family and to perform the ordinances that will allow us to be sealed for all time and eternity. I love the church and thank my wifes family for showing me the one true church. I am forever grateful for all they and the church have done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am very family focused and the idea of being sealed for all time and eternity just fills me with such peace. I love the feeling of taking the Sacrament every week and renewing my covenant with our Heavenly Father. I love the feeling I receive when we do service for our fellow man. The closeness of all of our ward members is without words. In a nutshell: AWESOME!!

How I live my faith

My wife is 1st counsler in the Primary and works with the Cub Scouts, and as my work schedule permits, I volunteer on Wed evenings to help her and the rest of the Primary Presidency with any duties they may need so that the meetings go smoothly. I so enjoy working with our youth. The Spirit that is evident in the youth in and of itself is joyous and uplifting. When needed, I also help in the passing of the Sacrament. This is the bread to represent the body of Christ, and of the water, which represents the blood of Christ. I am honored and humbled to be asked to administer the Sacrament.
