Why I am a Mormon

While attending BYU as an student athlete I was surrounded members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I learned first hand how the gospel penetrated the hearts of it members and was highly impressed the values they held. In direct contrast with fellow classmates from high school as college freshman, members of the church managed to find happiness in having clean wholesome fun together instead the typical doping & drinking. Members of the church even kept themselves physically/morally clean which was so unexpected coming in as an outsider. As I matured through the years I realized I wanted my future family to be raised with these core values. This is where I began my journey as a member of the church.

How I live my faith

In my profession I use my faith to serve individuals and families who want to buy a home. Buying a home can be both stressful and difficult at times. Through prayer I find the Lord helps me to help others with their goals of owning a home. I also use my faith and talents to serve the individuals in my local congregation. My primary role is serving as the secretary so I coordinate appointments for our bishop, help keep our leadership teams coordinated, and help congregation members stay motivated to accomplish some of their spiritual goals. I love what I do and feel great satisfaction from this service.
