Hi I'm Paige

I am a stay at home mom. I homeschool my children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom to two wonderful children. We are a homeschooling family. I love to cook for my family and crochet. I am busy making blankets for my friends and family. We love spending time together as a family. Our favorite thing to do is be together, sharing stories of our day and playing. One of my daughters suffers from epilepsy and we have spent several years struggling with this disease. We have gone through two major brain surgeries and countless medicines trying to control her seizures. Right now her seizures seem to be under control and we continue to pray that our decisions are the right decision.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church from the time I was 3 years old. From early on the church was just a part of my life. Like all teenagers I went through my rebellious side and decided I wanted to go on my own and find out for myself what I believe. When I got married my husband was not a member. When our first daughter was born he began taking the discussions and learning more about what I believed. As I sat there each week with him learning and listening I could feel my faith grow stronger. I knew everything the missionaries were telling him but I began to BELIEVE in what they were telling him. I finally learned for myself what it meant to have a testimony of Jesus Christ. I knew without a doubt he was my savior. I was so thankful at that point in my life that my parents joined the church when I was young. I was so grateful they never gave up on me and that through the Atonement of Christ I could be forgiven of my sins. I felt the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ personally. I knew at that moment that he knew who I was and loved me even though I had made mistakes. I believe the church is true, I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and another Testament of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for my faith because it has helped me stay strong is some really hard times that we have had.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith every day of my life. I help out at church by leading music in our women's program and also by helping on the commity for the women's enrichment night. I pray to my heavenly father every day to help me get through tough times and to thank him for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me. It is through my faith in Jesus that I was able to know that my daughter should have brain surgery not once but twice. It was through my faith that I was able to keep going and to wake up when I was so scared for her and for what her life was like. I am not sure how I would have handled her surgeries and her battle with epilepsy if it wasn't through my faith in Jesus Christ.
