Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a computer programmer and a cellist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young man looking forward to making a difference in the world. I'm a student, currently. I've attended two years of university at Weber State University in Utah. My focus has been in Computer Science, programming. I also am interested in political science and business. I was home schooled throughout high school, which allowed me to focus on my passions. I'm a cellist, and a lover of anything technical. I've enjoyed learning with and from my two younger brothers and two younger sisters. Yep. I'm the oldest. I enjoy learning new things and trying to apply those things the world. When I learn a new skill, I imagine scenarios when they allow me to save the day. I like saving the day. It makes me feel like I'm in a novel. I love reading novels.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that The Book of Mormon is true, and that God is my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is His Son, and I know these things by the power of the Holy Ghost. That is why I am a Mormon. I've learned these things from my parents, those around me, and from careful study. I've never doubted but always questioned what I've been taught and I've found the answers to those questions to be that this is indeed true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the council of our modern day prophets. The most important council they give for young men my age is to share the gospel with all the world and to serve a mission. That is why I'm in Canada right now: I'm sharing the Gospel with everyone I meet. I've always tried my best to follow the Lord by listening to the prophets council. I've stayed away from substances and practices that I know will harm me, because the Lord through his prophets have warned me. I've never drank or smoked or done anything that I know is against God's will.
