Hi I'm Wade

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving as a missionary in the Canada Toronto Mission. I love to water-ski, play frisbee, and listen to music. I grew up in Georgia, but now I'm loving life in Canada. I was once a student that spent most of my time studying and hanging out with friends, but for now I am spending all of my time teaching people about my beliefs in Jesus Christ. I love every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I continue to live the Gospel because I know it is true. Growing up, I lived by the light of what my parents believed and taught me. But when I left home to go to university, I had to find out for myself whether what I had been taught all my life was actually true or not. I read the Book of Mormon, attended church, and asked God if the Book of Mormon was true. The answer came by the power of the Holy Ghost; feelings of warmth and joy that I had never felt in that degree before, and I knew without a doubt that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I have done my best ever since then to help others have this same experience because I know that it will bring more happiness and peace than anything else in this life.

How I live my faith

I'm spending all of my time right now as a missionary. All day every day for 2 years, I talk to as many people as I can and invite them to hear our message. My time is spent studying the scriptures, teaching people in their homes, knocking on doors, and contacting people on the street. I live the Gospel by praying hard and then working hard. I've learned that just as important as what you do is who you are, so I try my best to be like the Savior; loving, humble, obedient, and faithful. I try to treat everyone I talk to with love and respect.
