Hi I'm Bianca

I grew up in Northern California. I come from a small family. I'm a stay-at-home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California and I come from a very close, but small family of 4. My older brother is 8 years older than me and my parents immigrated from Guatemala City, Guatemala way before my brother and I were born. I am a high school graduate and a college graduate. My parents always instilled in me the importance of having a great education. I absolutely love to dance, purchase and put on make-up, watch movies, go shopping, blogging and just talking about things that I love. I am a mom of one amazing little boy, I have been married for almost 4 years to my wonderful husband. I cherish my family, friends and religion most in my life. I have always been social and like to make new friends and meet new and interesting people. I work as a holiday employee right now because my priority is to take care of my baby. My husband works full-time and since I really never traveled much growing up, we are enjoying our time in the east coast.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents were the first in their families to become members. My father came to the U.S. when he was 17 and met some return missionaries and converted. Then my mom converted after my dad introduced it to her. I saw my parent's great example growing up, how they remained faithful through good times and hardships. Their example always helped me to want to be like them and helped my testimony grow. At one point in my adolescence I decided that it was time to know for myself if the church was true since I had always followed my parents. I knelt in prayer and received the confirmation that what I was doing, who I was, was the correct choice and path. I love the church and know that I would not be the person I was because of it. I know that I am not perfect and have made mistakes but I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is always on my side. I am grateful for the principles of the gospel that help me through life. I have seen many great and wonderful blessings in my life and in the life of others because of doing the right things and obeying God's commandments. I love the closeness of the church and emphasis on the family. I love the Lord and strive to do His will and obey His commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating in my church functions. Whenever I receive a calling I strive to fulfill it as much as I can. I have seen other's lives blessed through other people and I know service is amazing and can create miracles. I live my faith by treating others kindly. It doesn't matter if they are of my faith or not I know that we are all God's children and we should all receive the same love and respect from one another. Many blessings have come from visiting teaching the sisters, whether I have been on the receiving end or not it is great to know that we are not alone and can help one another. I live my faith by teaching my child, although he is still young, the importance of going to church and praying which is the foundation that I had growing up.
