Hi I'm Austin

Im from Canada. I love sports, and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the youngest of 8 children, I have always been called the baby of the family and from what I've heard that will probably never end, so I guess I better just learn to embrace it, I love my family so much, family get togethers are always a great time. I love playing sports of any kind, I played highschool Football, and Basketball, I love golf, I'm not that good at it but its great to get out and play. I basicly love doing anything outside hiking, biking, longboarding, snowboarding, and camping with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I Was raised in the church, and I always thought that I knew its true, but I still had doubts, when I 16 my Mom Passed away, and that was a huge struggle for me, and I found myself turning to the Book of Mormon for comfort, That is when I really started to gain a testimony for myself that this is true. Every time I read the Book of Mormon I can feel the Power of the Holy Ghost through feelings of Peace, Love, Joy and Clearity, My Testimony didnt come all at once, but through simple experiences of repeatedly feeling the Holy Ghost, I know its true. Sometimes people think that we are restricted by rules and commandments, but I know that those commandments are given from God to help us be happy. I have seen how my life has been full of rich memories, and true happiness simply from fallowing the direction given to us from God, and his chosen prophets. I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for each of his children, I know that the family is central to our Heavenly Fathers plan. and I Know that the Family is Forever if we live by the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by doing my best to keep the commandments which we have been given, I have learned that as I strive to keep the commandments I am happy. I have come to think of the commandments not as rules, and limitations, but simply as guidelines for happiness. Throughout my life there have been many programs and institutions within the church, such as Young Mens, and seminary. As I have made attendance to those institutions a priority I have seen my faith and testimony of Jesus Christ grow and I have learned many skills for life. I also live my faith by serving the Lord for 2 years as a full time Missionary. I teach People about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how through him they can have a happy, fulfilling life, and how they can return to live with God, our Heavenly father, after this life on earth.
