Hi I'm Laura

I'm the daughter of a dairy farmer, I'm an 80s baby, I'm an adventure junkie, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a small dairy farm in Southern Idaho where I learned the things I needed to make me into the person I am. After graduating from high school, I moved to the big city of Boise and studied Criminal Justice at a trade school there. I love to take and share photographs. I love traveling, I love going on any sort of adventure (that doesn't threaten my life). I'm currently on the biggest and best adventure of my life; serving a mission for my Father in Heaven. And I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up relying on my parent's testimonies, as well as the testimonies of my leaders. It wasn't until I was out on my own that I really found out what this gospel means to me. It's the best part of my life. It's what makes me happy. Knowing that someone died for me so that I can not only live with my family forever, but with my Father in Heaven again is the reason I even get up in the morning. Every day is a battle but Jesus Christ makes it possible to fight.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living. I'm not afraid to let people know who I am and what I stand for. I show my faith by my actions. I believe the best thing you can do for someone is set a good example. While I haven't been the best at it in the past, I'm definitely working hard and striving to do what's right because that is what is important to me. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." -Romans 1:16-17
