Hi I'm Wade

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful wife and have three children. I love everything to do with airplanes. I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering and History. I enjoy building and flying model airplanes, being outdoors, watching movies, and listening to music. I also, love steak and chocolate...but not at the same time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon, and have always felt it was a good religion. After growing up and studying other religions I felt it necessary to confirm that what I experienced as a youth was not simply a matter tradition or how I was raised, but what I truly believed. After a lot of prayer, fasting, and reflection I came to the conclusion that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints taught the truth and that it truly is the same church that Christ established as described in the New Testament. After reading the Book of Mormon many times I just couldn't deny the validity I felt in my heart despite all the skepticism I have heard from others. As I continue through my adult life I am constantly reaffirmed that these things are true. For me, the Church makes all the pieces of life (and death).

How I live my faith

My time is precious to me, and there is not greater burden or blessing than serving in the church. Currently I am involved in the scouting program. It takes a lot of training and time to make den and pack meetings work each week, but it is so rewarding to watch the scouts learn and progress and how excited they are when they reach their goals.
