Hi I'm Jill

I'm a mother of six children, a foster parent and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play the piano, sew, create things for my home and have fun with my family. I love to play board games and to laugh with my family. I graduated with a degree in nutrition. I am a stay at home mom of six children. I have been a foster parent for 1 year.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family. When I was about 12 I wanted to know for myself if the gospel was true. I decided that I would pray about it to find the answer. One night I prayed very earnestly to know the truth for myself. I closed my prayer and felt an overwhelming sense of peace and warmth. So much so that I cried and knew with all my heart the church was true. I then prayed and thanked my Heavenly Father for answering my prayers. As I have gotten older and life has gotten harder I recall that night and I pray to see my Heavenly Father's hand in my life. I can always see the miracles he gives to me when I look. I know He is there and that He loves me.

How I live my faith

I help the ladies of our church when they have babies, or illness, or simply need comfort. I organize people to bring them meals, clean their house, visit them or help with whatever they need. In my family we have Monday night's set aside to have a night together. We talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ, read scriptures, sing songs, play games and have a treat. I love the way this allows me to share my faith with my children. This also helps us connect as a family and be stronger together.
