Hi I'm Rebecca

I grew up in Arizona. I'm a mother of 6. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I always wanted to be a mother, and now I am blessed to be the mother of 6 wonderful kids. It makes life busy, but oh so worth it. I love playing games, riding bikes and having fun with all my family and friends. I love being in the outdoors in nice weather, such as going camping. I also enjoy holidays. I never have enough decorations for each holiday. That is when I'm like a kid again. Family is so important to me, and I'm always trying to think of ways to help build memories with them.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon gives me direction in a confused world. I have learned that there is a correct path to follow that will give us happiness now and forever. Without the Gospel of Jesus Christ I wouldn't know how to teach my children correct principles. I would live in fear of the chance that they might not grow up to be good people. I doubt I would be happy with who I was if I didn't have the chance to learn the correct ways through the scriptures and a living prophet. Being a Mormon also gives me the joy of knowing that my family is forever. We will still be a family after this life is over. What peace it brings to know that our love and relationships will not end at earthly death.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church by arranging help for those who have needs, ie. if I know of someone who has had surgery, and can't take care of themselves, I call other members of our ward, and together we make sure that person is taken care of, such as bringing them a few meals until they are feeling better. I love visiting teaching where the ladies in the ward can visit sisters they are asked to, and they get to know them, and they discuss a gospel topic together. We check on each other to make sure this sister is doing well. Doing service for our fellow men is exactly what the Savior did, and I know that I am serving Him when I serve others.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Rebecca
We are all Heavenly Father's children, and He loves us all and wants us to all help each other. Of course members of the Church want to help other children of Heavenly Father. We want everyone to be happy and feel his love. Show more Show less
