Hi I'm Lance

I grew up on a farm in Idaho. I love sports. I'm a forensic chemist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of four kids. My life is centered around my family and spending time with them. We enjoy playing games, watching movies and reading stories. In my spare time I love watching and playing sports. I am employed as a forensic chemist. No it is not like the CSI shows, but I love my job and enjoy what I do.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Mormons. I have always gone to church. I served a two years mission in Hong Kong where I learned Cantonese Chinese and taught the gospel. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. The gospel that Jesus taught when He lived on the Earth is found in its fullness in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As I have lived the principles taught in this church and studied the life of Christ, my personal relationship with my Savior has grown. I know this is Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person. Jesus taught that we should love everyone. That is hard, but I try to be an example of a disciple of Jesus Christ. I guess what I'm saying is I fall short everyday, but I try to be better today than I was yesterday. I love to read the scriptures. I get up early in the morning so I can read from the Book of Mormon or Bible each day. That time brings great strength and peace to my day. I then try to keep the feeling and Spirt of what I read with me the rest of the day.
