Hi I'm Fazur

I was born in Provo, Utah, and grew up in Mexico City. I finished my Career as Biochemical Engineer in Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the US while my parents were studying their careers in the US. I grew up in Mexico City and graduated as a Biochemical Engineer. I am now a father of three boys and married to an amazing wife named Alejandra. I always wanted to open up my own company. Being an entrepreneur has not been easy, but it gives me a great satisfaction to know that I all my life I have been preparing for the moment I could use my talents and abilities to help others. I am currently working in the design of Sustainable homes for the African Continent in areas with little infrastructure and providing the financing for these projects.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a family who has been in the Mormon faith for more than 100 years. Growing up in the Mormon faith allowed me to use my talents while I was very young. I started to play the piano at church when I was eleven. During my teen years I played music at church in Choirs, conferences, and on Sunday meetings. The music has been a blessing in my life. Music is a form of prayer. When I was a missionary serving in the Guatemala MIssion, I had an opportunity to find by myself that the Church I belonged to was in fact, the true church of Jesus Christ. During a prayerful afternoon I received confirmation that this is the Church of Jesus Christ, and that by serving others, and being faithful, you can have happiness and great joy. When I lose myself in the service to others, my own challenges seem so small, and I feel like a have a real purpose of living in these latter days. At church, I feel that I have a family that is always supporting me. No matter where I go, I can feel the love of the members and I am grateful for the many blessing I have received from so many faithful members. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and I know that thru faith and obedience, I will have an eternal family forever.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with an immense amount of peace and happiness in my life as a direct result of the faith I have in Jesus Christ. I am currently playing the Piano/Organ every Sunday. I find every week a great satisfaction as I prepare the prelude music and the Hymns, knowing that I am just an instrument for the Lord in bringing his spirit to the meetings throughout music. Many times I can feel the Lord so close as I am playing feeling his warmth and love. I have served as a Cub Scout Webelos Den Leader. I believe Scouting is one of the greatest programs available for our youth. I know that I make mistakes and have my own challenges, but I always try to bring a big smile to all those around me. I know that Jesus Christ has made my burdens lighter, and that I have always been protected. I know He loves me. I remember when I served as a full time missionary in Guatemala, that I met a father of a family where He was having difficulty to financially provide for his family. The father cried when He confessed that He was hiding his problems drinking and feeling more depressed. As we shared the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, He and his family saw hope, and peace in the gospel. I saw an amazing transformation on this Father and his Family. I have seen many times the power of Jesus Christ in transforming lives. What a blessing is to be able to share my blessings with others.
