Hi I'm Brinn

I was born and raised in Arizona, but I dream of exploring the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Texas Houston East Mission, speaking the Spanish language. It will be my first foreign language to become fluent in, so now I'm officially on my way to becoming a polyglot (someone who speaks multiple languages). I am am a lover of nature and art. My current interests include drawing, hiking, yoga, nutrition, guitar, and knitting. I aspire use the languages I learn to travel the world and learn new things as well as doing volunteer work. Some things I want to learn other than languages include surfing, naturopathic medicine, rock climbing, and astro-physics. I especially want to become fluent in the scriptures and be able to speak the language of the spirit. I know that we can find answers and guidance for anything by searching the words of God.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is God's restored gospel on the earth today and it brings me such joy and peace in my life! The gospel is centered on our Savior Jesus Christ who is a perfect example and suffered all things for us. He helps me overcome all my challenges and I feel close to Him when I live the way I should. He can take our sins away through repentance and that gives me such comfort and hope. I know that through the restored gospel we have the knowledge and authority to perform ordinances, such as baptism, that can help us on our journey to live with our families for eternity in God's presence. This is the greatest gift I could ever hope for!

How I live my faith

I feel like I am living my faith more than ever as a full-time missionary. We spend the majority of each day studying and the rest teaching. I have never felt closer to my Savior and Heavenly Father. We can all live our faith by studying the scriptures diligently each day and praying with sincerity morning and night as well as throughout the day. I think one of the best ways to live my faith is to help people and just be nice to others. If we will only look for ways to serve every day, we can be tools in the Lord's hands to bless his children.
