Hi I'm Ariel

I am a wife. I am a mom. I go hunting. I watch football and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a wife since 2008. I am a mother of one so far. I love my daughter, she is one of the lights in my life. I love to be in the wilderness. I go hunting almost every year. I have shot deer, antelope, and moose. I want to work on get an elk and a bear. I am currently a student and I am studying Physical Education Recreation. My father was in the United States Army when I was growing up so we moved alot. I lived in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alaska. In high school, I played soccer, bass guitar, bass drum, and ran track. I have been told that I can't stop smiling even through tough times in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of members. I made the choice at the age of 8 to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I hit a rough spot in my life after high school that I wasn't going to church. This time of my life, I was at the bottom of my barrel I needed to make a change of my current situation. I decided to start going back to church and ask the Lord for forgiveness for the things that I did in that point of my life. The sacrafice of Jesus Christ allowed us to be forgiven for the sins that we have made. I was able to be forgiven because of that sacrafice that Jesus made for the people of the world. I love the fact that I can go anywhere in the world and find a church house to attend that I don't have to see if I like it. The teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints are the same through out world. I don't have to worry about what my children are being taught when they go to their classes. I feel like the members of the church are my extended family even if I haven't met them before. I always see a smiling faces at church and I can feel the warmth of the members. I am a member also because the church puts Christ at the head of the church. I am trying to live my life as close to Christ did as I possibly can. I am thankful for having a living prophet on the earth day. The prophet helps us to become more Christ like with the teachings from the scriptures. I enjoy learning from the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently the secretary over the women in our church. We are always seeking to help other families that are members and that are not members. We have put together many kits for different countries that need things especially 3rd world countries and after natural disaesters. We make dinners to take to families that are ill, had a death in the family, or had a new baby. I feel like we are the nurtures of the church just like we are of our own families.
