Hi I'm Emily

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! I am going to college. I am majoring Nursing. I love it! We have the opportunity to work in hospitals and communities all around and it is such a good experience. I love to ski, get to know people, play piano, play basically any sport, be with my friends and family, and eat ice cream :) My favorite color is blue, but not the blue blue. Like a happy turquoise blue. I love laughing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the peace and comfort it brings to my life. When I say peace and comfort, I mean ALL THE TIME! When I feel like I am totally alone, when I am happy, when I am stressed out, when I am care free, when I am with the people I love, or WHENEVER I can turn to my Heavenly Father with a simple prayer and get the peace. I know that Heavenly Father is there! I know that He loves me and every single person on this earth! He places us in a time and place surrounded with certain people because He truly cares for us. We can't do it alone. But, with the people, family, friends, and the resources - scriptures, prayer, we CAN do it. Christ did everything for us. He suffered our sins so that we can return back to Heavenly Father again some day. I can repent because of Him! I can be forever a child of God because of Him. I know that the bible and book of mormon is real doctrine and scripture from God. I know that He has provided us with them so that we can learn and grow through them. We can and will get answers to our prayers through the scriptures. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet. He is guided through God. He is His mouth piece. He is here to give us revelation for this day. I know I am a child of God! And again, that He LOVES ME!

How I live my faith

I participate in Church by playing the piano for hymns. Not only that, but I visit teach those women in my ward. I go to 2 or 3 women in my ward and I teach them principles of the gospel and be there friends. I am there if they need me. I am there to serve them and to love them! I am their friends in the gospel, and together we help each other.
