Hi I'm Terrie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in an insurance office. I am single and hope to have a family some day. I love my nieces and nephews!

Why I am a Mormon

The most comforting thing in my life is the knowledge of my Heavenly Father and his plan for me. Being a daughter of God is such a strong part of my identity. When I keep this knowledge at the front of my thoughts I am happiest, and when I let other thoughts get in the way, I am less happy. I know that there are many ways in which I can grow closer to my Heavenly Father and become more like my Savior Jesus Christ. I feel blessed with feelings of love an happiness each time I take one of those steps towards righteousness. The happiness I feel when I follow the gospel is real. Nothing else can take it's place.

How I live my faith

I am currently a part of the visiting teaching organization in the church. I am in a young single adult ward. It is a very important part of our church, where we reach out and contact each woman in the ward to make sure that she knows she is loved. It is an opportunity to give service to one another. I feel as a group of single adults, it is an especially important calling, since we may not all live in traditional families during this period of our lives. Going to college or living alone or with roommates. Sometimes it is nice to be visited by a member of our ward family, to be reminded that we are loved.
