Hi I'm Lisa

I'm an artist, a musician, a wife, and a mom of seven. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to my best friend and I'm a mom to seven beautiful children. I'm an artist and a musician and I love the creative process. I have traveled to many countries and have lived for a time in Germany and Argentina. I love learning about other cultures and people from all over the world. One of my favorite things to do is to spend time with my family hiking in the mountains or playing at the beach. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to be born into a family that loves the gospel and carefully taught me the teachings of Christ. As I grew, I came to my own knowledge of the truthfulness of the restored gospel by reading and pondering the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I learned through my own experience that keeping the commandments brings happiness and peace in this life. I believe that everyone can make a difference for good in this world and my membership in the church helps me to strive to improve myself and help others along the way.

How I live my faith

A part of my answer of how I live my faith would be that I pray daily, on my own and with my family, I study my scriptures and attend weekly church meeting where I volunteer my time in various roles that have included teacher, missionary, accompanist, youth counselor, and choir director. But I hope my faith in Jesus Christ is reflected in other ways, even in the smallest parts of my day. For example, in the way I wait in line at the grocery store, greet a neighbor, or offer help to someone in need. In all things I want to follow Him. Of course, I often fall short and am eternally grateful for the Atonement, the gift of repentance, and a chance to try again. I believe that His love for us is not dependent on our actions, our belief, or our situation in life. More than anything, I want to share this love with others.
