Hi I'm Jocelyn

I grew up in Alabama. I enjoy swimming, music, reading and the great outdoors. I am serving a mission in Washington. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving as a full time missionary in the awesome state of Washington. I love it! I plan on going back to school after my mission and I hope to become a physical therapist. My mom is a music teacher and she has taught me to love music. My dad is a statistician and I have no idea what he does. I have two older sisters and an adopted younger brother. My family is in the process of adopting three kids from Haiti. I loved living in Alabama, but I am learning to love Washington also, even the rain. I enjoy running, biking, and swimming. I hope to complete a full triathlon one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who are members of the church. They taught me the gospel and even though I have been a member my whole life, I have gained my own testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church. My testimony started off as the testimony as my parents. Throughout my life my testimony has slowly grown concept by concept.

How I live my faith

I live by faith through the small and simple things that I do every day like prayer and scripture study. As a missionary, I am always trying to do what is right. I love that I am able to bear my testimony all day everyday. I try to take as many opportunities as I can to provide service to others. I enjoy serving others because I know that I am doing the Lord's work.
