Hi I'm Harmony.

I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mother of two, soon to be three. I have a degree in Psychology. I love reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to read Jane Austen books, Peanuts comics and Baby Blues comics. I always read the instructions when I buy a new appliance. I like to cross-stitch, but I can't draw to save my life. In six years of marriage, my husband and I have moved six times, but with each new home we have been surrounded by the love and friendship of those in our church.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are converts, and I had the blessing to grow up a Latter-day Saint, but I still went to Vacation Bible School every summer with my cousins. I love the Book of Mormon and the feelings of warmth and peace I get when I read it. I have had times in my life when pain and depression have left me feeling utterly destroyed, but the Savior is always there for me to bring me peace and healing. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father that I can pray to Him to find out for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church. To know for myself in my heart that this is true makes all the difference to me.

How I live my faith

At church, I teach the 8-12 year old girls. This year we are studying the New Testament, and I am grateful for the chance to really focus on the Savior's life and the lives of His Apostles. At home, it's fun to teach my children little gospel stories like Adam and Eve or Nephi building a boat because I get a new perspective on things, like when they ask if Adam and Eve ever had snowball fights.
