Hi I'm Jim Adair

I'm a Mormon. I am married and am a recently retired engineer.

About Me

I was born in Arizona, but grew up in Salt Lake City. After graduation from college I took a job in Arizona as an engineer with an aerospace company, where I worked for almost 30 years before retiring in 2011. My wife is from South Korea. We met there while I was on a two year work assignment. I enjoy photography, cars, motorcycles, computers, hiking and walking, travel, engineering/science, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a LDS home. I became mostly inactive during my teen years but eventually felt the need for a closer relationship with God. I considered looking at other faiths, but decided to seriously investigate my own church and found it to be true. Now I wish I had been more interested in the church when I was young because I can see how much I missed out on by not being active. I now know this church is true and makes available all the saving ordinances which can enable us and our family to achieve eternal life with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I am the clerk for my ward. As such I keep important records of the the members and business of the ward. I am also a home teacher.
