Hi I'm Paige-Winter

I'm a rock climber. I'm a traviler. I'm a sister to 13. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey i am living in Moldova right now and loving every second of it. I am from a family of 16, including parents. 6 are adopted, 2 from Guatemala and 4 from Haiti. We are all really close in age... and yes it's as crazy as it sounds but I love it! I am serving a mission in Romania and Moldova, ya that's why I'm randomly in Moldova :). My brother is serving in Uganda and my older brother just got back from his mission in Korea. In my free time i love to climb, hike, swim, wake board, dance, and eat pomegranates with my sister on our lawn chairs. I also love to travel, so far i have made it to 12 countries if you don't count America. Oh and i also love skydiving. so ya that's me in a nut shell

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but i went though a time in my life that i did not know it was true or if this was what i really wanted to do. it was a really hard time in my life. I was at EFY which is like a church youth camp and they told us to pray and ask God if He loved us. I really didn't want to cause i had prayed and asked that before and didn't get an answer and so just assumed it was a no. Since i am not so talented at keeping my thoughts to myself, i talked to my sister about how i felt and that i didn't want to ask again because i was afraid i wouldn't get an answer again and that it would just confirm that God didn't care about me. She told me that i don't have to ask, but that i should just pray and ask God to give me courage. So I did. It is one of the hardest prayers i have ever said but this overwhelming feeling of peace and love come over me. It was so strong that i would never be able to deny it. For a while that was my whole testimony, that God loved me. But as i grew and learned to turn to my Father in Heaven more my testimony also grew. Now i know that God is proud of me and he guides my life. I know that God answers my prayers, I know that the scriptures are the word of God and God uses them to speak to me. I know that Christ is my brother and that He loves me more than his own life. I know that through Him i can be clean and i can live with my family forever. I know that i lived with God before and will live with him again. I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by going on a mission. I don't know how much more i can live this faith ha but I love my mission. I know that this is where i need to be and i know that this is where God wants me to be.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Paige-Winter
Mormon women are all different. Some women are very successful in careers other women are home makers. My mother and I are very opinionated and outgoing. She is a stay at home mom because that's that she loves to do and I plan on being a high-school counselor because that's what I want to do. We believe women are strong and capable and can accomplish whatever they want to accomplish. We believe that men and women are different but equal and there should be a high level of respect for each other. Show more Show less
