Hi I'm Michael

I want to be a Dentist/Lawyer I love the out doors and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a family of five boys and no girls I am the youngest child in my family and all of them are members except my pops. I love to play any kind of sport basketball, football, baseball, and tennis. Along with sports i love to be out-doors with my family camping, fishing and hunting. Some of my greatest accomplishments in my life so far is receiving my eagle along with the bronze palm and my Duty to God Award.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up i was raised in the church but it really wasn't tell i was around 13 years old when I really understood why i was a member of the church and it wasn't until I was 17 that I felt it was my duty to go and serve a mission. Growing up I would always see how families with in the church had great joy and happiness being together and that has helped to see that this church provides more happiness and understanding. Some of the things that really stood out to me with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is learning about how families can be together for time and all eternity. With in my heart I know that there is a purpose fur us all and for having families. Gods intends us all to have families and enjoy being with them after this life. I have chosen to be a faithful member of the church because I know that one day I will return back to live with Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that the first law into heaven is Obedience so if we do what the lord asks of us than he will give us all the promised blessings that he has awaiting us if we remain faith to him and his teachings. I know the Book Of Mormon to be another Testament of Jesus Christ and that Joseph Smith was able to translate if by the power of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet today and that he does receive revelation to guide and direct the church today.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in our church whether it was deacon, teacher, priest, in the young men presidency, or assistant to the bishop and i have gone home teaching a lot. When i was in the young men presidency I helped out with planning our camping trips, super activities like 60 mile hike and 50 mile bike ride. Along with that i would help others earn their badges so the could come closer to earning their eagle award. I feel it a strong duty of mine to make sure I am there for any of the members of the church, my family and my friends.
