Hi I'm Nikki

I'm nineteen years old. I've been a dancer my whole life. I love little kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am going to college and working part time. I work at a dance store and am going to school for Early Childhood Education. Teaching two and three year old's is my absolute favorite! I am dating the boy I someday want to marry. I want to married in the temple. I am a convert to the church and it's the best decision I ever could have made. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have amazing examples around me. I'd been curious about the church for a while, and after attending church meetings with my best friend and boyfriend I decided to pray to know if getting baptized would be a good decision for me. I prayed and prayed and prayed and Heavenly Father has always answered every question I ask him. Then one night I had a dream about being inside a temple of the Lord. I was watching a line of people getting baptized (this is not how baptisms are done, but this is how it appeared in my dream.) In my dream, I had a strong desire to be as baptized and as happy as those people were. This was my first sign that the church is true. After many other experiences, I now have a strong testimony of this church and this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the word of wisdom and trying my best to devote Sunday's to Christ and dress modestly. I try to be a good example to those around me, and I answer the questions my friend's who are not LDS have. This church is the best thing that has ever happened in my life, and I want to share that joy and happiness with others.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Nikki
The church teaches that baptism by immersion is essential for the forgiveness of our sins. We must be baptized to be reunited with our Heavenly Father and our eldest brother, Jesus Christ. Christ atoned for all of our sins, and when we are baptized we make covenants with our Heavenly Father that we will always remember Christ and keep his commandments. Show more Show less
