Hi I'm Bethany

I was born in California, and have lived in the same house my whole life. Now I am going to school at BYUI.

About Me

I love gymnastics, being outside, and being with my family. My family means the world to me, if I could spend every moment of everyday with them I would! I got pretty close to doing just that when I was on a break from school. I worked, played, and lived with my family. The only thing that I love as much as my family is Nutella.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so in my life I have asked this question to myself many times. I have never had an amazing experience that has lead me to the knowledge of the church being true, but each experience has meant the world to me. The first time I felt the spirit really strong was at night after a really hard day. I just wanted to know that my Heavenly Father loved me, so I got on my knees, prayed sincerly and ask if he loved me. In that moment I felt an amazing feeling. The feeling felt like a warm peace, and the prences and reality of God was undeniable. I then knew for sure that this church is true and that I need to do all I can to follow Him because of the love that He has for me. My grandparents are an amazing example to me. When they lived in Denmark the missionaries knocked on their door, and they started taking the lessons to know if the Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true church. They soon had a confermation that it was true. At the time their were no temples in Denmark. They know that the temple was the only place that they could be sealed together as a family forever. My grandparents wanted nothing else than this, so they sold everything they had and sailed to America. They got to California with only $50, no connections, no job, and couldn't speak any English. I know that they would not have done this unless they knew that this is what God wanted them to do.

How I live my faith

At this exciting time in my life I am serving a full time mission for The Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that this is what the Lord wants me to do. I love this gospel so much and it makes me so happy. Who am I to keep this to myself? Heavenly Father loves all of His children. I am so blessed to have this chance to help my brothers and sisters return to Him. Being mormon is not a hobbie or title, it is who I am. It is all about my relationship with God, and what I will do to follow Jesus Christ. Living my faith means doing everything that our Heavenly Father would want me to do, especially the little things.
