Hi I'm Nathan

I love driving and the Northwest, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been running cross-country since 6th grade and I love it. Even though I'm slow compared to my friends (and the rest of the team) I work hard knowing I'll improve soon. So I keep running. I really enjoy spending time with my family. We have so much fun together! When we go on road trips, we don't even have to go to some fancy place, we just have to be together, and we can make anything fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon, and always just did what the church taught. One year, we were moving from one state to another, and it was really hard on me since it was in the middle of my high-school career. I knelt and prayed harder than I ever had before, and I felt the Spirit so strongly that night, telling me it would all be okay and that yes, He is there. I'm a Mormon because through this experience I learned that the Church is true, and I choose to follow Him. It's also a clear choice because growing up, other families in our neighborhood never seemed to get along like I did with my family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I encourage good choices among my peers, and I choose not to participate when others aren't quite being so clean in language and such. I keep myself responsible by knowing the consequences to my choices, good or bad, and using this and the Lord as a guide, I choose the good choice. Pretty soon, I'll be shipping out to the Philippines to serve a 2 year mission.
