Hi I'm Fuen

Im a sister,a golfer, a brownie lover and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU-Idaho and am studying business management. I am the oldest of four and I love my family, food, and playing Golf.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and for a while I just leaned on the testimony of my parents. As I became a teenager I gained a testimony of myself. Trials came but through the things I had learned from church I knew how to overcome them. I realized that all I had been taught by my parents about the gospel truly was a blessing for me. I wouldn't trade the opportunity to have the gospel in my life for anything. Being a "Mormon" has its challenges but the blessings that come from it make up for the hard times. I have felt the love of my savior and have seen his hand in my life. This gospel has provided a "blueprint" for my life. I know that through baptism by the right authority we can begin our way back to the presence of my heavenly father. With the gift of the holy ghost I can always know what the lord requires of me, and what an amazing thing that is.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the service activities director in the church. This gives me the opportunity to seek for service projects in the community and gather the members of the congregation to come and help. It allows us to serve and get to know everyone better. I have been called to serve in the Kansas Wichita mission and I am excited to teach others about what brings so much happiness into our life.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Donating 10% of our income or paying tithing is a way we can show gratitude and strengthen our faith. The lord has given us everything that we have. Without him we would not be able to accomplish anything. He has given us the opportunity to help in the progression of his work on this earth. One way is by giving a little part of all he has given us to build churches, maintenance of those buildings, helping the poor, etc. He doesn't really need money from us but it's a way to test our faith and allow us to receive blessings from obedience to his laws.
