Hi I'm Jessica!

I grew up in St. Louis. I enjoy outdoor recreation and traveling the world. I love to eat, dance and laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduate from the University of Utah and am currently enjoying my profession of a speech-language pathologist. I enjoy meeting new people and traveling to places around the world. I like to read, sing, dance, and play the piano. I keep life interesting by trying new activities, foods, and hobbies. I hope to one day be fluent in sign language and have taken a few intro classes. I love spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the reason I am who I am today. It is the resounding factor of why I strive to be better day by day. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. He loves me and wants me to be happy. As part of this, he created a plan that would enable his children to return to his presence again. This plan of happiness depends on the atoning sacrifice of our Savior. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior and that he atoned for the sins of the world. Through him, my sins, imperfections and short comings are blotted out and I can become clean and pure. If I live worthy and keep the commands, I know that through the atonement I will be able to return back to the presence of my Heavenly Father again one day. This testimony gives me peace during a time when the world is in much distress. It gives me hope to daily press forward striving to emulate my Savior. It is the reason I am happy and proud to call myself a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith daily in my behaviors and interactions with others. I stand firm in my beliefs and standards and am open about discussing my beliefs with my friends, family and co-workers. I strive to study the scriptures and pray daily. This provides me with strength to face trials in my life and helps me be a better individual. I enjoy going to church on Sundays and learning more about the gospel in various classes and meetings. I also enjoy the privilege of providing the music as an organist during Sunday meetings. Living the gospel in every thought, word and deed is something that is not always easy, however it is assuredly the only way to live a truly happy, fulfilling life.
