Hi I'm Vicki

I grew up on a ranch in northeastern Arizona, I'm an ASU graduate, I'm a wife and a mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful husband who is the love of my life. We have been married a year and a half, and a have a beautiful baby girl. Being a mother has made my life and also my marriage full of so much happiness. I am a college graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Human Development, and someday plan to run a preschool of my own, because working with children brings me so much joy. I love to read books and let my imagination soar. I love sports, in particular basketball. I play the piano and enjoy singing as well. Family and friends are important to me and I love trying to help out where I can and trying to make somebody's day just a little better.

Why I am a Mormon

In our church there is a great emphasis placed on the family, and as I stated above, I love my family so much, they are so important to me. Family is the basic unit of society. Having strong family values can boost moral and family can be there for you through difficult times that may arise in your life. We all come from different backgrounds and family styles but we can still all feel that important love that comes from a family as we ourselves, try to show Christlike love to everyone around us. Also, fellow members of our church become close like family as we all serve and help each other. I know that a family can be together forever. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior and loves and knows each and everyone of us personally. As we pray with faith, I know that God will let us know the truth of all things. I have had the opportunity to pray and ask in faith and I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and they still communicate with us today through a living prophet and apostles. I invite you to learn more and pray so that you too may know the truth of these things for yourself, and it will change and bless your life in a miraculous way.

How I live my faith

I try to show Christlike love for those around me by serving and helping in any way possible. I try to see the good in others and love them for who they are regardless of mistakes they may have made. Daily exercise and eating healthy and treating my body as a temple is a daily way I live my faith. Each month I visit a few of the ladies in my church to see how they are doing and see if there is any way that I can help them. I have worked in preschools and daycare's for many years. I love children and I love working with them. I have been able to work with the children at church as well and teach them of Jesus Christ and God's commandments and the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ has for them. It is so enlightening to see how they learn and can feel that love of God and Jesus Christ. Children are so willing and excited to learn new, good things. It is always such a pleasure to be around them and teach them good principles and morals. Overall, I try to live my faith by trying to be an example of Jesus Christ and trying to do as He would.
