Hi I'm Eric McGuire Wenstrom

I'm a Mormon. I am a musician and a convert to the church.

About Me

I am very fortunate to be a working musician as a conductor and arranger. I have worked with many artists, LDS and non-LDS, all good people I am a father of triplets and was adopted at birth by good parents. I recently was reunited with my birthmother and brother after fifty years. I recognize the Lord's hand in everything I do and his guidance in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been spiritual and believed in Jesus Christ, but I found that something was missing. After moving to Idaho, I became curious abut the church and it's people. A friend gave me a copy of the Book of Mormon, of which I read the first few chapters and put it aside for a couple of years. After performing in a ward, something stirred my curiosity furhter and I decided to call a friend and asked to attend church with her. I began reading the book every night as well as any literature I could find, both positive and negative. In an answer to my prayers, I recieved a confirmation that this was the correct church for me to join and I called the missionaries the next morning. I was baptized the next weekend and have never regretted my decision. I knew that no mere man, let alone one with limited education, could have written a book with the scope of the Book of Mormon and that I had to have been inspired. My life has been on a completely different course it would have been and I can see that Heavenly Father has guided my life towards this point. I always think of how I felt the moment I emerged from the baptismal font, clean and renwed, as if given a second chance at life.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my community as a musician and try to present concerts that families can feel safe at. Most recently I worked with Jenny Oaks Baker in an all Walt Disney program that helped benefit Breast Cancer Awareness in our region.
