Hi I'm Kaleb

I grew up in The United States. I am a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a Musician. I enjoy playing the Piano and Guitar and developing this Talent.I try to sing and write music. I am serving a Mission in Irvine California. I play soccer and ran Cross Country. I have friends all over the country and have lived in many different states. I graduated from Copper Hills High School recently. I enjoy studying and learning about anything I can. My parents are divorced and I use my faith to find strength in that trial. I love my 8 siblings and parents very much. I enjoy turning random foods into a masterpiece! I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the LDS Church. I am an active member right now because I have felt the Holy Ghost tell me that this Church is true. My life is better when i live the commandments of our Heavenly Father and when I follow the Guidelines that the Church has given me. I am a member because I know that God lives and loves me and i can show my love for Him by being a part of Christ's true Church.

How I live my faith

To participate in Church I attend my Sunday meetings.I wake up early every day to pray and study the scriptures. As a fourteen year old boy I was asked to begin home teaching with my father. In this calling i will go each month and visit a few families and share a gospel message with them. We also see if there is anything we can do to help the family or to serve this family. As a youth i participated in youth activities to help me develop the skills that i use to bless my life as i have grown up. I follow the standards that we have been given to live clean lives. Right now I live my Faith as a Missionary for the Church in the California Irvine Mission. I reach out to others to help them in their struggles, the same way our Savior did.

Are Mormons Christians?

Kaleb
Mormons are Christians because we know that Jesus Christ lived and was our Savior. We also believe that he prepared the way home to our Father in Heaven. The official name of the Mormon faith is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. WE follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What is the priesthood?

Kaleb
The Priesthood is the Authority that men are given to do our Heavenly Father's work on the Earth. The Priesthood was given to Adam at the foundation of the world. The Priesthood that Our leaders hold is the same as the one that God gave to Adam and Moses and other Prophets that we can read about in the Bible. The young men get the Priesthood as well although they receive the priesthood that John used to Baptize our Savior. The young men use this Priesthood to prepare themselves for when they become old enough to receive the Priesthood that has been held by all the Prophets of God. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Kaleb
It is an outward sign that we are willing to follow Jesus Christ and the Example He set. Also with baptism comes the opportunity to be fully and totally cleansed from prior sin. We also make a promise in our hearts to God, when we are baptized, that we will follow Him and keep His commandments. Baptism is the act that sets us apart from sin and our old life, All members of the church are baptized because once a person is baptized they are given the Gift of the Holy Ghost, the ability to have the Holy Ghost with them always, a gift and privilege available to members of the Church, once they are baptized. Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Kaleb
Mormon Missionaries proselyte because we know that the call that Jesus Christ gave his Disciples to bring the Gospel to all the world is still in effect. We also know that the restored truths that are in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will bless the lives of those that come to know them. We have the desire to share those truths and bless the lives of our fellow men. That is why we have missionaries that proselyte. Show more Show less
