Hi I'm Heidi

I'm a wife, mother, and music teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Arizona in high school and have been here ever since. I attended the university and earned my bachelor's degree in music education with an emphasis in elementary general music and piano. I also took some organ lessons there just for fun. While in college, I married my husband and we have been happily married for over 7 years. I enjoy teaching piano lessons. Now I love being a stay-at-home mom of a two cute little boys. I like to read, sew, do yoga, cook healthy meals for my family, play board games, and take pictures of my little boy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, and during my teenage years I gained a testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I didn't gain my testimony all at once or through any special event; rather, I gained my testimony little by little over time as I studied the scriptures, went to church, and followed the commandments. As I did these things, I felt in my heart that the teachings of the Church are true. Following Jesus Christ brings peace and happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures, praying, attending church, taking care of my family, giving service, and trying to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ. I have served in church in many different ways including playing the piano or organ for church meetings, teaching children, and directing our congregation's choir.
