Hi I'm Glen Schroering

I'm a preparing missionary, I'm a son of our Heavenly Father, I love sports, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve a full-time mission to Bahía Blanca Argentina. I have been home schooled for most of my life and I have graduated high school with academic honors and completed my freshman year of college. I also enjoy music and I pretty much like anything that came out before the 2000's. I am the second youngest of four kids. I have two older brothers and a younger sister. I am very involved in the Boy Scouts of America. I have earned the rank of Eagle Scout and I am very grateful for the knowledge I have gained through my experience in scouting. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, both Mormon and non-Mormon. I also like attending church activities where I have opportunities to socialize with other members of the church and to feel the spirit that they have.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My mom was a member her whole life and my dad joined a short time before I was born. I have always gone to church regularly and have developed a strong testimony of the Gospel and our Heavenly Father. I also believe in his son Jesus Christ and that he died for our sins so we may be saved. I believe that we are currently guided by a prophet today who receives revelation for the church and it's people. I also know that the Lord can offer personal revelation to his children. I have felt his love in my life many times and I am grateful to know that he is watching over me. I have a strong testimony in the priesthood and I know that it is the power of God on the earth today. I know that through it, anything can be done with the Lord's help. I also have a testimony of families. I know that I was put in my family so that I could be taught and strengthened by them. They give me a lot of support and are always there to help me. Lastly, I know that we can all return to heaven and live with our Heavenly Father again. We all have the privilege to repent and be forgiven so we can all return home with him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my church activities and attending my church meetings every Sunday. I also have done Boy Scouting and had many opportunities to serve with them or with my church. I believe that serving others will not only help those you serve, but it will also bless you. I also recently graduated from my religious seminary class where we study teachings from the Bible and the Book Of Mormon. I am now preparing to leave on a full-time service mission for the church to Bahía Blanca Argentina.
