Hi I'm Jason Scott Lindsay

I am a scuba diver, I am an avid snowboarder, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

From an early age I have always loved the outdoors. I am an adventerous explorer trying to push the limits of what man can do in nature. I am trying to push the limits of what man can do through God. Whether it be snowboarding, scuba-diving, mountain-biking, canyoneering, or hiking the beautiful 14er peaks of Colorado, I always have my God and morals with me. No matter where I am I try and mantain priorities, especially the priority that God comes first. After God, comes my family and dear friends. Coming from a family of 7, I know the blessings that can be aquired through a good family centered around the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am a family man and a servant to the lord before anything else.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have recieved a personal witness of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ that has been restored in these latter days. I grew up in the church, however at times dwindled in my faith. For a long time I lived and believed off of the testimony of others. However, through a change of heart and after much tribulation in my teenage years, i decided to find out for myself. I decided to live the gospel. I decided to pray fervently and read the book of mormon. By following the advice given in Moroni, to ask God with real intent, I received a personal witness by the Holy Ghost of the truthfulness of the book of Mormon. I continue to be Mormon because it is a source of happiness and hope in my life. There is nothing better than the blessings provided through the atonement of Jesus Christ. I have seen the hope of God's light and blessings in my life and the lives of my family and others who have also lived the commandments of God rightously. I am a Mormon because I know that my heavenly father has a plan for me and knows me personally. I know that Jesus Christ is my redeemer and comforter, and that he knows all of my pains and weaknesses. I know that through him, I can live again and eventually become perfected both in body and spirit.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others. Charity is the pure love of Christ. As a member of the church, I aspire to help those that are in the church be sustained spiritually as well as physically. In the church I share my testimony and teach others in a way that allows me and them to learn and be edified together. Outside of the Church I try to help with anything I can, wether it be visiting the sick, pulling weeds for the old widow, or helping a new friend move into our area. However, before anything I try to strenghten my own testimony and grow to become the best I can. I try to improve every day and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in their fullest extent.
