Hi I'm Alexis

I love to hike and swim, study Biology and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hike and be outside with my family. I love going on hikes in National Parks, especially in the mountains. I study Biology at college, I like studying the processes of life and nature. I love to swim, scrapbook, play board games and go on walks in my spare times.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the love I have for my Savior. I grew up in the church but never really took the messege to heart for my self until I was about 17. I had all the information in my head but I had never allowed it to fully enter my heart. I needed to get out of my comort zone of just moving through church and the motions, so I decided to pray and find out for myself. When I did, the Holy Ghost testified to me that the things I had been learning all my life were correct. I began living by the commandments and my life began to fall into place. Everything that was not important to my living the Gospel began to fall out of my life. My Savior slowly began to be the one I depended on for comfort and I began to understand my place as a daughter of God in His plan.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fulfilling my responsibities as a Visiting Teaching Coordinator, giving talks, and going to service activities with my ward and Relief Society. I also live my faith by serving a full time mission. I know this church is true and I want to help others find and learn the truth of it. I use this gospel by loving and living with my family. My family is my everything and I try to live in a way that we can all get along and build our faith together. By doing this I know that we can grow to be like Jesus Christ and live together forever with our Father in Heaven
