Hi I'm Brian

With loving hopes and dreams for me I was placed for adoption in 1963. My life's been a wonderful gift. Thanks Mom! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband , father of five children and owner of three small businesses which provide; window cleaning, maid services and Christmas lighting. I live a simple life near the mountains where as a family we enjoy hiking, exercising, camping and adventures with our Weimaraner pup. I play tennis, ski, snowboard, sport climb, explore remote wilderness, hunt, snowmobile and enjoy keeping a neat and tidy yard. The majority of my time and thoughts center around providing for my family. Am I adequately providing for them? Am I prepared for the financial needs of the future? Do I provide enough sense of security for my wife? Am I teaching my children all they need to know to survive out in the world? And, am I spending enough quality time with them providing the foundational love they'll need for future trials?

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by choice. Being a man I am fully aware of the influences of good and evil that surround me and threaten not only my well being and happiness but that of my family. I am also sufficiently aware of my own weaknesses and limitations, which is embarrassingly humbling. I need the gospel of Jesus Christ to function; not just to the level I think I can reach but to the fullest potential that my Heavenly Father knows I'm capable of. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and the only means by which I and my family are going to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I gain strength knowing that there is a God who loves me as His son. A God who has prepared a plan of salvation which provides a way for me to learn and grow, experience joy and adversity, have agency and consequences, provides repentance and forgiveness; everything I need to become like Him. Just like I try to be for my children. I Know that my Heavenly Father lives. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ lives. I testify that all that has transpired in our existence before we were born as well as the events of this world since, are all part of a divine plan. I am grateful to know that Heavenly Father has communicated with His children throughout the ages and that he continues to do so today. I am grateful for Jesus Christ who leads and directs this church through living Prophets. I am grateful for the divine power of the Priesthood that enables me to bless my family and bind us together for the eternities. I am grateful for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and the blessing it is to live in the last days when the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is available to all God's Children. I am grateful to know that God loves me, that I am His son and that He is my Father. How thankful I am to have scripture that teaches these things to me and the spirit of the Holy Ghost to confirm of it's truthfulness. In the name of Christ, amen

How I live my faith

I have spent the majority of my service in the church as a youth adviser, with the focus on training young men how to prepare to become worthy husbands, providers, fathers and leaders in the community. I accomplish my calling through teaching boys about what it means to serve others and how it is only through service to others that we ourselves can truly experience joy and happiness. The Boys Scout program is one of the tools we utilize to accomplish our goals. The other tool is through the teachings and use of the Priesthood. The Priesthood is the power of God available to us to administer in God's behalf.
