Hi I'm Stacey.

I'm a Mom, a baker, and a lover of Disneyland. I'm a reader, a creater and a singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom to two girls and a studying to get my Bachelor's degree. I love traveling and one of my lifelong goals is to get kissed in all 50 states. I'm still working on that one, but my husband is willing to help me out! I love to play the piano and do my daughters' hair. I am a girly girl and have just recently not been afraid to admit it. I am a Mormon from birth and conservative by choice. I am happy!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a great LDS family, when I was 12 years old I realized I didn't know for myself if the church was true. After much thought, prayer, and asking for help, I realized for myself that this church is true and I believe it with all my heart. When I was 19 years old my sister and her husband both died in a boating accident from drowning and hypothermia. With all the tragedy that played out from that, I could not let go of one thing: my faith. I knew my Heavenly Father was thinking of me and wanting me to be happy again. I know I will see my sister again. I do not question that for a minute. I know she is happy. I know she is with the grand supreme being that created us all, and that has made her death bearable for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching music to the children in our ward. We learn songs that will help them all their lives to overcome temptation, remind them who they truly are, and how to return to their Father in Heaven. I teach my children of their Savior and explain to them times when we feel the Spirit of the Lord. I try to make my home as happy and peaceful as I can. I try to pray everyday, and I've found that this helps me be so much more patient and loving throughout the day as opposed to when I don't!
