Hi I'm Alice

I'm a missionary. I'm a sister. I'm an author. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two sisters and two brothers. I love writing and am working on my first book. I sing and play the piano and flute. I'm just finished my first semester of college in December and I'm going to be serving a mission in California for the next 18 months. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. My mom is my hero and my dad is my stronghold. I love spending time outside, especially during the warm summer months.

Why I am a Mormon

I was origionally Mormon because my parents are Mormon. My mom grew up in the church and my dad is a convert. However, like everyone else, I had to come up with my own testimony and my many years in Young Womens and going to Youth Conference and Girl's Camp and Seminary has helped me grow closer to my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ. I know that my Redeemer lives. I know that when I pray I am heard and that my prayers are answered, whether by my own time or by the Lord's. I know that He loves me and that I am a child of God. I know that everyone on earth is a child of our loving Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ, just as is the New and Old Testaments. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he did speak face to face with our Heavenly Father just as Moses did. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today and that he recieves revelation for us, just like the prophets of old recieved revelations for their people. I have a testimony of eternal families and tithing and personal revelation. I know that my Redeemer lives and that my Heavenly Father loves me, you, and everyone else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living as an example. My friends know that I am Mormon and many of them ask me questions. I love talking about the church and how it's such a blessing in my life. I always keep my standards high; my modesty, language, and choice of friends keeps me on the right path. I'm not the average teenager; I do what is right no matter who is watching. I try to love everyone around me no matter what they do. I am trying to be like Jesus, in all that I do and say. I will be serving a mission in California soon and I'm so excited to be able to spread the gospel on a full time mission. I know it will be hard, but I also know it is what the Lord wants me to do.
