Hi I'm Jordan Dalton

I'm a recent BYU-I Graduate, husband to an amazing wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jordan. I have a fantastic family that consists of my mom and dad and four siblings. Three sisters and one brother. I rank second oldest. I have four dogs, three labs and a little lap dog. I love to do lots of things, for example swiming, hiking, soccer, video games, reading. I love laughing and hanging out with friends and many other things. I have my associates degree and have attended three years of college. I am an eagle scout and yeah thats me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints for my whole life. Both my parents are members so I was taught in the way of the church since I was born. I really didn't understand the gosple and how it affected my life until I was about 15 years old. I had always knew what was expected of me and what was right but I kinda felt traped in my religlion. I come from a small town when I was the only member in my school and it was hard. Everyone knew that I was a Mormon and knew exactly what I could and could not do and it really bothered me. I felt like i was always watched and every decision I made was closely examined. I started to doubt my faith and really wonder how much better my life would be if I was just like everyone else. I could go to parties and do what i wanted and not worry about setting an example or choseing the right. I felt myself slipping and I made one last despertate grab at the light and I found the light in my Savior Jesus Christ. I began reading in the Bible how Jesus was just like me. He was followed and watched in all that he did, but never doubted. He was beaten and brusied, sipt upon and mocked, but never wavered in his faith. As I read a pondered in my my heart all that I had learned I realized that I was being selfish in my life. My life was great I had a family who loved and suported me. A great school and good friends and most importantly I had a Savior who knew me personaly and loved my with all his heart. I became fully converted when I relieved these things. I know that this gosple blesses lives. I know that my Redemer lives. I love my Savior and am so thankful to Him. This gosple is true in the sacred name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

So just a little on how I live my faith. In my branch I was president or in charge of all the other young men at one time. I also searved as a hometeacher to many people and would go and visit with lots of people. I participated in Boy Scouts of America and earned my Eagle Scout reward and as my project I held a community blood drive which was a great sucess. I was a head referee for the comunity soccer leagues. I always tried to set a good example wherever I was and in whatever I was doing.
